Fort Mason SF Open Studios Show
Well, the 2017 SF Open Studios event at Fort Mason is history and the dust has settled from the event. Met some great people there, fellow artists as well as new clients and future, potential clients. Our event was held in the General's Residence (Mansion) which is located on the edge of the entire property of Fort Mason, bordering Van Ness Avenue and Bay Street in San Francisco. Beautiful location. To prove that point, here is the view from the backyard of the Mansion:
It is quite the view and made working the event all that much more enjoyable. The show was part of the SF Open Studios Annual Event in San Francisco. Artists display work throughout the City at various studios or locations (i.e. Fort Mason) and this takes place over five weekends (mid-October to early November).
I was on display in the Lounge area of the Mansion:

I sold some prints and one of my acrylic paintings, titled Rainy Day Monday.
All in all, a good weekend. I look forward to next year's SF Open Studios event there. Also, want to give a shout-out to Emily at Pierce Ranch Vineyards in Monterey. She traveled up to the City for our opening night on Friday evening, doing tastings for the crowd. Loved the reds that she brought and it was great that she could be a part of the event!
